WHY LEARN A LANGUAGE?
LEARN ITALIAN IN ITALY
We have 10 all-inclusive language holidays to give away, plus 50 individual
Italian tutorials in the UK, courtesy of Cactus Language, a leading provider
of language learning at home and abroad. The one-week language holidays include
the course, flights and accommodation.
Winners can choose from one of 10 locations to study in (Bologna, Florence,
Naples, Rome, Siena, Siracuse, Sorrento, Taormina, Tropea and Venice) and a

Each language holiday will consist of 20 lessons throughout the week (Monday
– Friday), giving you new language skills, as well as an insight into
local culture. You can choose to stay with a host family for the week, or stay
in shared student apartments.
Each winner will also receive a personal choice of teach yourself language products
to the value of £30. (See www.teachyourself.co.uk). You could also be
one of a further 50 winners who will receive a two-hour private Italian language
training session at home or in your office. This could be the ideal way to kick-start
your Italian or brush up your language skills before travelling to Italy.
Cactus Language has fully qualified, native-speaker language trainers who will
tailor the lesson especially for you.
HOW TO ENTER
1. Collect three of the five tokens that will feature in The Independent until
Friday 10 March.
2. Send your tokens along with your contact details to: Italian Language Competition,
PO Box 55705, London, E14 1AQ. Please state on the envelope whether you wish
to be entered for a language holiday, private tutorials or both. For the language
holiday please also state your
preferred choice of location.
3. Entries must be received by Monday 20 March and the winners will be notified
in writing by Friday 24 March. In bocca al lupo – good luck!
