Ardingly College was founded in 1858
and is set in 230 acres of grounds and woodlands with
its own lake, in the heart of one of the most beautiful
parts of the mid-Sussex countryside. The College is
58km from London, 18km from Gatwick Airport and 29km
from the popular coastal town of Brighton.
Facilities include a large swimming pool, 18 tennis
courts, squash courts, extensive playing fields (for
football, volleyball & cricket etc.), an indoor
gym, video-TV, theatre for plays and sing-songs, arts
and crafts centre and a disco hall. There is also a
common room and games room. |

Activities: |
One full-day and two half-day visits per week to include
sightseeing in London (Madame Tussaud's, Tower of London,
Science Museum etc); Windsor Castle; Brighton; Eastbourne;
Guildford and Hever Castle. |

| Accommodation: |
Residential: Boys and
girls are accommodated separately in comfortable single
or twin-bedded rooms, with adjoining bathrooms, common
room and games room. Laundry is done weekly. Staff members
sleep in the same blocks as students to cope with any
problems that may arise, and there is a doctor on call.

A return airport transfer is available
from London Heathrow or Gatwick, but is not included
