The summer school is located about ten minutes
walk from the main school. It is a dedicated language
school with ten classrooms, a video room, common room
and offices and it has a capacity for 150 students. |

Typical
Activities: |
1 full-day and 4 half-day excursions are run during
every two week period. These may include the university
city of Oxford, Warwick Castle, the city of Bristol, Shakespeare's
birthplace - Stratford on Avon, Longleat Safari Park,
punting on the River Avon and tours of the city of Bath
itself. There are also two evening activities plus games,
sports and drama afternoons. The programme is supervised
by a dynamic team of young and enthusiastic activity leaders.

| Accommodation: |
Host Families: single
or twin rooms, full board. A maximum of 4 students may
be hosted by one family at the same time, but students
will be of different nationalities so that the common
languag spoken is still English. Families are carefully
chosen and regularly visited by the accommodation department.
They are chosen for the standard of their homes and
the friendly welcome they extend to their young guests,
who will be treated as part of the family during their
stay. In Bath many families are within walking distance
of the school but some students may need to take a bus.
An accomodation officer is available to discuss any
homestay issues. Host families will undertake basic
laundry such as underclothes, shirts etc. |
